HOW IS THE PROCEDURE PERFORMED?

WHAT ARE THE RISKS OF EXCISION?
The risks of excision include bleeding, infection, and scarring. In rare cases, nerve damage or other complications may occur.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECOVER FROM EXCISION?
The recovery time can vary depending on the size and location of the lesion that was removed. Most people can resume normal activities within a few days to a week after the procedure.
WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER THE PROCEDURE?
After the procedure, it is important to keep the area clean and dry. Follow any specific instructions given by your healthcare provider, such as changing the dressing or taking antibiotics. It is also important to monitor for any signs of infection, such as redness, swelling, or fever, and to contact your healthcare provider if you experience any of these symptoms.
CAN A WART, CYST, OR LIPOMA RECUR AFTER EXCISION?
Yes, there is a chance that a wart, cyst, or lipoma can recur if all of the tissue or tumor is not completely removed during the initial procedure. In some cases, a second procedure may be necessary.
